what do i talk about with a guy i'm just starting to like? i don't know him very well, i always seem at a loss for things to talk about...but i still really want to keep talking to him. i don't know a lot about sports and if i pretended i did it would look really silly...

You can talk about movies you've both seen or book's you've both read or song's you both like. It doesn't have to just be all sports and cars. I have alot of male friends and that's what we talk about.

Okay what do all straight males love? Sports and some type of decent non-Broadway music. Thats how I got so many guy friends.

find out what sports teams he's interested in, and watch sportscenter on ESPN so you'll know how they did the night before.

then talk about things that interest you --- not all guys are sports crazy (me for one --- i HATE team sports in general)
