RQ: No, "agnostic" wouldn't describe me.

Seal:
I do not believe in a creator-god.
I believe in Love, the power which infuses all living things and unites all living things, past, present and future.
In the most primitive forms of life (and the most undeveloped forms of complex life) it appears as Love of Self.
In more developed forms, it appears as Love of Family.
In more developed forms it is Love of Tribe/Nation
In more developed forms it is Love of Kind (love of humanity, for example).
In the most developed form, it is Love of all Life.
Opposing Love is Fear. Fear is the absence of Love, not a thing itself. Like a void, empty of matter. The more we Fear, the more we squeeze out Love, and thus become more and more disconnected from Life.
I believe Love lays at the heart of all religions, but is quickly lost within the organized rituals and worship fearful people create to assure themselves they are 'doing it right'.
Love is not so much a god as the spirit of Life. It is Life's purpose to Love.

Definitely not - I run into the same problem. Atheists consider me too theistic, and Christians often dislike me because I often side with the atheists.
Basically, if you say anything that goes against what a person believes, he instinctively will consider you to be a member of the rival. Humans like this sort of easy categorization, whether it's accurate or not.

I suppose the best explanation I can think of is that you dont fit on with athiests becuase you believe in the possibility of something existing. And you dont fit in with Christians because you may not believe that whatever does exist is God in the form they think of. In which case that makes you neither, it makes you Agnostic. Open to the belief of some higher power, yet unsure of the details.

Well it would be nice to know what exactly what you are in terms of your beliefs. Could you quite possibly be a Deist by chance? If you believe in God but not of any of the Abrahamic faiths which by the way are Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, or you believe in God but that no religion has it right in terms of how they characterize him then you are a Deist.

Sort of makes you a spiritualist. You believe in a power of emotion that transcends the physical, or the scientific?
Either way, I guess it's your business and no one elses. Of course no Christians or Atheists will be the same, there's always going to be difference.

You're the religious equivalent of an amphoteric substance. 'Strong' Christians and atheists are very caustic and should be handled carefully. 'Weak' Christians and atheists can still be hazardous if concentrated enough. When Christians and atheists come together, the reaction can be quite violent.
And no matter which you come in contact with, you become the opposite.

I get a lot of that too. It's like being trapped in the middle sometimes. I believe in God so I get some 'all believers are morons' comments but I'm certainly not Christian so I get a lot of 'you'll burn in hell' remarks.
I guess I'm a burning moron, lol.

I haven't seen your answers, so I wouldn't know why they do that.
But no, there are different kinds of people here. There are some wonderful pagans and agnostics. Personally, I am an agnostic pagan animist.

We atheists and Christians tend to be the most vocal, so it only seems like there are more of us. Everyone is represented in some way.
Could you possibly be agnostic?

I hope I am a Poster that is not one of the two cats.
People "Call" other people names out of ignorance, fear... Etc.
I remember my Auntie telling me, "When you point your finger at someone you have three other fingers pointing back at you."

Seems to be the generalization people from both sides tend to stick with.
No, there's a few of us Pagans running around here as well. =)
