Im a body builder and i dont eat 12 eggs a day like some people say. Really we should only eat about 4 eggs a week, remember that the egg whites are better then the yolk.

Usually 1 a day is fine. 2 a day is probably fine if you know that your cholesterol and lipids are in a healthy range. Also, it's easy to substitute one of those whole eggs in your drink for an egg white. The only real issue with eggs is what the yolk contains. The white is considered a "perfect protein" (i.e. an ideal blend of amino acids) , so when it comes to the egg white, eat up!

perchance like a million per day, so 7 a week. Eggs fairly are not all that undesirable for you, besides the indisputable fact that the ldl cholesterol makes dissimilar human beings turn faraway from it. i believe it has like sixty 5% of your ldl cholesterol in a unmarried egg. I, too, will down 4 eggs at a time, yet I not often do it by using ldl cholesterol content. i might want to say if he's not doing it better than like a pair of times a week, he should be positive. tell him to drink some milk and devour chicken; eggs are not the only element with protein.

Raw eggs contain a protein called Avidin. This protein binds the B-vitamin called Biotin. Regular consumption of raw eggs can cause a Biotin deficiency. Note: cooking the eggs denatures the Avidin protein, thus, eliminating the problem.

P.S. extensive scientific research shows that eggs are a very healthy food (taken in moderation, which is true for everything!). Generally, expert researchers suggest an average of 1 egg per day is appropriate.

In the 1980s it was considered good practise to have no more than a maximum of two eggs per week to avoid excessive cholesterol in the body.

In 2007 I would say that is still a pretty good guideline and that eating 2 eggs a day is excessive - however should bird flue become a problem I would cut them out of your diet completely along with the consumption of chicken flesh.

It mostly depends on your activity level. It's true that eggs are high in cholesterol, but your body won't let it build up if you are very active.

I would say that two a day is fine if you are someone who exercises regularly. However, I hope that you're not including yolks in your blendered drink. Always cook your egg yolks. Don't try to be like Rocky, or your taking a risk of making yourself very sick.

"Most nutrition experts suggest that one egg three times a week can be part of a healthful diet."

http://www.askdrsears.com/html/4/T041100.asp

"If you are healthy, it is recommended that you limit your dietary cholesterol intake to less than 300 milligrams (mg) a day. If you have cardiovascular disease, diabetes or high LDL cholesterol, limit dietary cholesterol intake to less than 200 mg a day. The yolk of one large egg has about 213 mg of cholesterol. If you eat an egg on a given day, it may be a good idea to limit or avoid other sources of cholesterol for the rest of that day."

"the American Heart Association now recommends that you can eat one egg a day, as opposed to three or four per week it previously allowed."
