I'm sick and tired of everyone pointing fingers. "Atheists, where in the Bible did God say life is fair?" "Can you prove god exists?" "How many Satanists kill people a year?" "Why are you on this section if you're not Christian?" "It's either you're a believer in God, or you're not. There's no other version."
Our lives are so frickin' miniscule, do we REALLY have the time to try to piss off others? I understand the whole "It's important to question society" thing! I really do! But dear Gods, take a break sometimes!
And why are you/we all on this darn site anyway!? I mean, learning's important, yeah, but when was the last time you chilled with one of your friends just having a conversation, or played with your kids, or visited your family?
The religion debate needs to be put on pause for a bit, people, please, seriously. Just live for a while. Don't point fingers. Acknowledge people are people, and they're entitled to their opinions, --

Oh hun, everybody thinks there uglier then they are. And i have seen some of the UGLIEST, FATTEST girls, with really cute guys, and i used to get jealous, lol, i was like why is that 400 pound lady with that fine guy, lol. But it goes to show you, it's not the outside that is important it's the inside that counts. There are very pretty skinny girls out there and the second they open there mouth and say sumthin, there are truly ugly, and alot of guys see that. My step sister is 250 pounds and not cute at all, but she is very nice, and actually is a slut, lol. and she has 2 boyfriends. so looks don't really mean anything. Just wait and the right person will come along eventually!

I don't think anyone seems to understand that it has nothing to do with who is doing the finger-pointing. It does seem that you cannot ask any kind of question, no matter what religion, without the comments from "the other side" being demeaning.
There should NOT be any sides. Debate is one thing, insults are another.
Peace be with you all... can't we share some of that... and enter into a discussion, not a debate, clarify issues, not create schisms.

Huh....some valid points. I'm here during my downtime, but thanks for asking. This is mainly entertainment, a place where I don't have to think about bills, cleaning, grocery shopping, or see the dying faces of the cancer patients I work with every day.
My life is nowhere near miniscule, but since I don't have time to ride my horses anymore, the computer is my little bit of escape from the real world each night before I go to sleep.

I'm here because it's fun, funny, I have the time, and there are people in here that I do consider friends. So this is how I socialize with them.
I don't insult people and I don't post stupid things like what you listed. Those that do are trolling and deserve to be reported.
(That is part of the reason for the Penguin/Puffin war. It's a huge joke to get people to relax and laugh a bit.)

I dunno, but it appears to me that some people (this includes all groups) can not feel secure in their own beliefs without tearing down someone else's. They can't look good unless they can show someone that looks worse than they do. It's a shame really... those people who do this can't expect others to change or to show any kind of respect when they do things like this.
I know what you mean... anger seems to fuel this forum for the most part. Anger over, what seems to me, to be very petty things. And as you pointed out... the lies they use to question other people's motives in here, wow. I know I have never been in a mixed group in real life where people treated each other like this.

I talk regularly with my friends, or try to as much as possible. I come here for answers to things I'm concerned about or interested in, and I try to help answer questions or the same scope and for the same reasons. Perhaps most of it is tit for tat in that people who are going to want to fight, are always going to want that. Let's hope we are all better than that.
