how many years is too many years to like/love the same person? (when your not together with the person) b/c i have liked this guy since middle school and im in high school now...

If its the right person there is never to many years, but your still in high school and take it from someone who knows, don't waste time on just one guy now, your still young and have plenty of time to find the right one. Test the waters and see what else is out there because if you don't you will regret it later.

There is no such thing as too many years to love or like someone. Sometimes, we cannot help how we feel, and that sounds like the situation with you.

love has no limit. if you never told him and you are completely in love, there is no 'too many'. but if you asked him and he rudely said no. then maybe still liking him 5 years more than when he rejected you is a bit too much.

i have liked the same guy for 3 years[middle school], and i greatly regret it.
