So my friend is a girl, I'm a guy, I want to say "Hello friend" in spanish, do I say Hola amig"o" or amig"a"?

amiga. An a on the end of Spanish words makes them feminine, an o makes them masculine.

Hola amiga!! The -a at the end of nouns denotes feminine gender!!

for a girl you would say Hola amiga!

you have to say "hola amiga" but in Spain we dont say that, we use," hola tía" it is very informal but it is what we use.
