The bible was written by "...some crazy mental guy who made all this crap up"
Have you seriously considered the reliability of the bible? Ignore for the moment the whole notion of God and just think about the book's content.
As a simple experiment, try turning your objective intellect towards the argument that no book, comprising 66 “mini-books”, written over a period of 1500 years by 40 vastly different authors, having an outstanding literary internal consistency and coherency, could be written by mankind alone. The bible’s authors ranged from high government officials, peasants, military officers, and fishermen, to a prime minister, a cupbearer for a king, religious teachers, and others.
Add to that the survival of the book’s ancient manuscripts, numbering in the tens of thousands, over thousands of years and yet these manuscripts remain over 98% textually pure. How this possible, when compared to all the other ancient writings are so few in number? For instance, the Dead Sea Scrolls contain all books of the Old Testament, except Esther, and have been dated to before the time of Christ. The earliest copy of Homer's Iliad dates to 500 BC, some 500 years after it was written. Only 643 copies of Illiad exist. The earliest copy of Ceasar's The Gallic Wars dates to 900 AD, some 1,000 years after it was written. Only 10 copies exist.
In comparison, there are over 24,000+ New Testament manuscripts, the earliest one dating to within 24 years after Christ.
Now why would we accept the authenticity of Homer's or Caesar's writings and not the New Testament manuscripts? How can we objectively and rationally explain this book, the Bible, especially in light of the claims I have made above?

Do you friends really try to "shove" their beliefs down your throat? A true Christian doesn't normally do that, or are you exaggerating? But anyways you say how is there proof, well look around you, theres a beautiful world. How can this just have been an accident? You look at a building. You know there is a builder. Everything has to be created by a creator.

Okay, if that is really the way you feel. But I would ask you one more time to search your heart and soul and see if you can find a way to trust in Jesus. Read Roman 10:9-13, read it with an open mind and an open heart. Let the Holy Spirit speak to you and then if you still don't believe or want to, then consider yourself told and wittiness to, and then when Judgment Day Arrives, I can say, "Lord, this soul's blood is not on my hands". God Bless you Anyway.

1. sorry that you feel that way
2. G-d does exist for he answers prayer, heals the sick and stuff. G-d has allowed me and others like me to know him and to see with my eyes that he indeed lives and does what His word says.It has been four years since I first seen these things and even now on a some what daily basis I see G-d answer prayer in my life. G-d is real and He will reveal himself to you if you choose to seek him with all your heart. I too would hate it if people forced their religion (if it was no more than a book of laws) on me, but G-d is not a religion but a living person. I know you might think I am crazy but G-d is real and he loves you more than you can understand.

Even though you don't share your friends' beliefs, isn't it nice to know that they care about you enough to want you to know how you can avoid being eternally damned to hell? Even though you don't believe in hell, your friends do, and they care enough about you to try to look after your soul even in the face of your anger. How many other friends care about your eternal well-being versus simply what they can get from your friendship?
If you want an example of evidence for Jesus, there is a book called "Evidence That Demands a Verdict" by Josh McDowell, which explains many logical and historical reasons for believing in Jesus.
Granted, there is no "in-your-face" absolute proof that you cannot deny, because the truth is that even when Jesus was physically face-to-face with people, some of them still chose not to believe. There is no evidence, even of the eyes, that the heart cannot deny if it wants to.
God is waiting to be found by you if you will seek Him out. If not, at least give your friends credit for caring about you deeply.

I know it is hard to do without seeing physical proof, but you can get a witness that God exists by praying to him. You will feel the truth of his existence, if you do not deny the feeling. Scientists did not find out that the earth was round until they looked. Accepting something like religion based on physical observation will lead one inconclusive, but anyone who prays to God to really know and is willing to really trust him will receive an answer.

I feel bad for you because there is a veil over your eyes that prevents you from seeing, because if you could see, you would see the ignorance of your assumption.
No one is trying to shove their religion down your throat, just trying to throw you a life line to save your life.
Reject it if you wish, that is your choice.
Maybe one day you will see, maybe not.

What's the deal with some Atheists who are so ignorant ?
What's the deal with some Muslims who are so ignorant ?
What's the deal with some Fill-In-The-Blanks who are so ignorant ?
What's the deal with some human beings who are so ignorant? Maybe it's just part of the human condition.
