you know what happened to the sheep that was lead by a bad shepard(pastor) they all killed themselves because they thought god was behind a asteroid. I can just see it now one sheep baaa...two sheep baaa...each individualy falling of the cliff of reality because they will follow anyone blindly who says they are a minister...you know what it took me 10 min to get ordained by a church of all religions and you know what that is what you have for ministers at most of your churches. GET A CLUE!!!!

Here Here.
Very astute.
God could be real. So could the Flying Spaghetti Monster. But organised religion is a sad joke brainwashed on our youth and transfered down generation to generation. It is evil and kills. It has no proof. None whatsoever.

The greatest church I belong to is the church I hold in my heart and reading the bible.
The church Jesus created between the Holy Spirit and myself was a gift from his dieing on the cross that Jesus said he would re-build in three days.
Your statement of 10 min to be ordained only proves how easy it is for evil to be among the church. It shows that the hypocrisy is present in wolves in Shepard clothing and not among all leaders.

That's the problem. Many people feel they can LEAD their own lives and only experience depression, sadness, lonliness, confusion and continue to have a void in their life. When all they needed to realize is that we are sheep that have gone astray and need a Shepherd to lead us to the path to Our Almighty Father in Heaven. Following this loving, caring, all knowing Shepherd Jesus fills our void, gives us hope in this troubled world, gives us Joy that doesn't depend on our circumstances and most of all gave us LIFE eternally to be with The Father in Heaven by dying for us! A relationship with Our Shepherd is real. May you find the truth in Jesus. (I do not depend on any man to lead me to God, even tho some preachers are great. I read and let the Word of God and The Holy Spirit guide my mind and heart. God bless.

religion may be phony, but a lot of people find comfort in the commraderie of sharing the same thing. You can't deny that. I like Karl Marx's statement of religion being the opiate of the masses. It's true. There is another saying "if God didn't exist it would be necessary for man to invent him". A nice conundrum, don't you think?

all of us can be leaders but we are not allowed because they will have no sheep to till the fields (workers to build there vision and then allow you to be part of it) Heaven ( This is heaven we are building heaven for the rulers and they allow us to to be a part of it as long as we believe as the do) I accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior but I'll be dam if I'll live a christian life, because I don't need anyone to tell me how to live, god gave me that since. Religion & I mean all religions are cults, phony, misleading, liers, they let people starve so they can eat.

That is why you don't follow blindly. Jesus is my ultimate Shepherd. As for pastors. My family have left churches because of what a Pastor has preached that went against our core beliefs.

I'd rather follow God. Religion has nothing to do with it. I have a personal relationship with Him and He with me. I know I can trust Him. I know He is always true. I know He cares about me. I know He looks out for me. I know He is power. I know He wants only good for me. I know He can help me go through anything. I know He has a sense of humor. I know He is long suffering. I know He has given me abiding peace within. I know He blesses me everyday. I know when I go out on my own, He comes to find me and welcome me back into His safety. I know that I am not "all that" and need a powerful, completely righteous & good, absolute , unswaying force in my life to keep me in a safe, secure place.........and He does that. I'm still learning the beautiful character of the Father and look forward to the day when I will continually be in His prescence in Heaven. For now, I'm content to be loved by Him and taken care of in every way. Praise His Holy Name and bow down before Him for He is God. When you get tired of running everything yourself and come to a place you don't know where to turn for help, I highly recommend you call on Him. He loves you, too and waits for you to call on Him. You'll never regret it, if you do. May God watch over you and protect you from yourself.
