ok I told this guy i like him and today we talked and well his been acting a little wierd lately.Did I mention he asked out a girl a day after I told him I liked him.They broke up in march of 07.HELP!!!!!!!

It sounds to me like he's just as confused as you are!! Kinda seems like he likes you but also isnt quite over his ex! I would just wait and see what move he makes next! If he starts calling you or asking you out then go for it... if not, then hes not ready to move on from his ex yet. Just dont pursue him anymore b/c even if he IS somewhat interested.. if you seem desperate or pressure him right now then chances are that he will STOP liking you before the relationship has even started! So.. just back off for now and see what happens... Let the ball be in HIS court for now!

I dont think you should even think about it i know its hard but if you do then it will just make you crazy why dont YOU play hard to get? and if he doesnt decide to chase you after a while give up there are probaly much better guys out there for you.

I'm surprised that you like a shy guy. In my experience girls are turned off by shy guys. The fact that he asked out another girl after you told him you like him doesnt mean he was rejecting you. He may have liked the girl for a long time before he talked you. It is normal to date many people (for girls and boys) before settling on one person.

He seems a little unsure - if he's acting "weird," then he may not be interested. Don't worry, just see how things play out. It's either meant to be, or it's not. It's up to him to talk to you about it, though.
