This is what I'm looking for:
1. price $200 or less
2. doesn't eat batteries like crazy
3. about 5 megapixels
4. doesn't have a really long delay from when you snap the picture to when the picture is actually taken
5. fairly user friendly

The Kodak Easyshare C533. So easy to use, long battery life, & the pictures are simply beautiful. Sharp, bright, & well saturated.

Kodak. Not sure which is in your price range, so you'll have to look at them in the store. I've had three of them, but not because they quit working. I moved up each time and gave them to my daughters. Very user friendly.

Kodak Z730 is a great camera.
