There are many ways to arrive at a price. You can charge by sq. footage, per room or per hour. Things to consider before pricing the job would be the conditions you have to deal with. For example: One coat or two, color change between old and new and quality of paint could determine this. New work or repaint, prep time (re-caulking needed?). Is the trim simply 4" base or is it extensive three piece crown and window trim. Will you have to move furniture. Will there be someone standing over you watching your every move or wanting you to throw in extras that you didn't price (or similar job aggravations). Will they hold out some of your money as they drag you through prolonged touch up needs. Hope this helps.
