Yes. The other standard 9mm is the 9x18 Makarov, a Russian design that the USSR used. The Russian bullets are .363" diameter, a little bigger than the .355" bullets used in the 9x19. They are not safe to use in guns made for the 9x19.

Yes. Generally "regular" 9mm ammo is 9x19 (aka 9mm Parabellum, 9mm Luger), as opposed to 9x18 Makarov, 9x17 Kurz (.380 ACP), 9x23, etc.

yes. 9x19 is about as regular as you can get without loading your cartridges with a fiber supplement. 9x19mm is also called 9mm luger, 9mm para, and possibly 9x19mm para.

Yes it's just another name for it. But the 19mm is only the measurement of the case length, not the C.O.L.(cartrige over all length)
