Long Emo haircut for a girl?

Ok, so i have preety long hair, its about 3-4 inches below my shoulders and its also really thick, I wanna get an Emo haircut, but i dont want it really short. Any tips at all? and if u could send me some pics so i can give to my stylist that would really help.
