Koine greek is the ancestor of our current common language.
It was the "slang" spoken by illiteracy at the beginning of the 19th Century. At that time, greek majors were a small cast and the people used to speak a greek full of turkish phrases, a mingle of greek &turkish! Then poets started to create a pure greek language, getting rid of turkish idioms. At the start of the 20th Century, grave debates went on and ended up by creating castes of intellectual people and of poor people, the last ones starting speaking the "demotic" greek, as a way to answer to intellectuals..............!
Holy would be: ιερός in formal και άγιος in koine.
Ηlloweed would be:καθηγιασμένος in formal kai ευλογημένος
in koine.

The preferred English spelling is "Koine Greek." Koine Greek is also referred to as the Biblical Greek. It is the form of Greek spoken at the time of Christ. It is considered essential to understand Koine Greek in order to obtain a "proper" Christian education since so much of the Christian Literature is written in Koine (Greek.)

Sorry, I do not know about holy and hallowed, if they would be the same word or not. You properly need a Biblical Scholar.
