i've been asked this qeustion so many times, but it all boils down to people being confused.

You said digitial, but also mentioned hd.

The digitial switch over has started, BUT will not get to some areas until 2012.

All you need for thsi is a freeview box and a digitial aeiral.

At present there is NO hd switch over date, as it has just being lauched a year ago, ( you can only get this from sky, and SOME cable companies at present ) there are no plans til at for anyone to get hd via their normal aeira for at least 20-25 years from now.

hope this clears it up for you wg

The old (existing) eqpt. has analog "NTSC" tuner, the new eqpt. must have a digital "ATSC' tuner or an additional converter box to continue with old eqpt.
