i think there is. the bad people just stick out more thats why we notice them more.

I agree. My personal experiences have convinced me that most people are good. The bad ones are the ones we remember and sadly, we forget the honest, friendly people who have helped us. Also, forums like this tend to bring out folks who say some pretty nasty things because of the anonymity of the Internet.

Ya.....I beleive there's more good than bad. It's just harder anymore to know who they are. I guess growing up and through most of my life I really didn't think there were very many bad people. I never locked my doors, never felt unsafe going on an evening walk, people would stop when you were broke down on the side of the road and you didn't have to be afraid of ones that would stop. You could let your kids play and ride bikes and not have to worry. You could beleive people. Now bad people seem to be in larger numbers where it's hard to feel safe anymore. I guess alot depends on where you live though. Where I am now it's not so hot. There was an elderly lady and she was struggling with a cart in this steep parking lot trying to get her groceries in her car. I went up to help her and she simply panicked. I'm far from a frightening person and reaching the elderly bracket myself....but she was so afraid so I had to walk away and let her struggle. Plus she was rummaging frantically through her purse and I figured I'd probably get pepper-sprayed if I pushed it. LOL But I know how she feels. It's not enough to go out only during the day....it's gotten to where your almost crazy to try and go it alone anymore. I notice the nice people more.....they make my day.

I would hate to live in a world where I thought there are more bad people than good people. That's the type of world most conservative republicans live in. I feel very sorry for them. The good people of this world are prevailing and will always prevail. Look at the last election and in the next election the good people will prevail again and a Democrat will occupy the White House.

I think most people are good. Some are just stuck in their ways and you cant fault them for that or assume they are a bad person!!

I believe that most of us have both good and evil inside us. Very few are completely evil, and even fewer still are completely good.
