O'Reilly... geez... yes, pick someone else. Hitler wasn't an Atheist by any means of the word. He believed in the Aryan doctrines (that all Jews are devils, basically is what it is). Which is why we have the "Aryan Nation" (google that one)... It is a Christian sect.
There won't be any backlash... because Atheists are a small % of our society. Mainstream doesn't care about anyone who is not part of their group. Though, I'm sure O'Reilly will be getting plenty of history lessons in his email over it lol
O'Reilly loves to push stuff like that... making a vague religious point while talking about something that doesn't even involve religion. He is a poor choice to get info from, in my lowly opinion. =)

Nothing O'reilly says will insult me.
Check up on Hitler. He was a Roman Catholic.
Think about it this way; Hitler thought he was pre-destined to rule. Doesn't that mean he thought there was some type of superior power controlling things? Doesn't sound like an atheist to me.

O'Reilly is a morally bankrupt moron with no redeeming values whatsoever. So, no, a person like that cannot insult me. Oh, and Hitler was not an atheist; I'm not sure he actually practiced Christianity, but he was not an atheist. That's a familiar refrain on YA, but it's not true. It's also a familiar refrain to say he was part Jewish, which is also definitely not true.

I don't hear much of what O'Reilly says, as I find him extremely obnoxious.
He can spout misinformation all he wants. I imagine that most atheists in the U.S. are pretty used to being demonized by the religious right. Bush (the daddy, not Dubya) said in an interview that: "I don't know that atheists should be considered as citizens, nor should they be considered patriots. This is one nation under God." So anything O'Reilly has to say is, frankly, below my standard of outrage.

Because nobody watches O'Reilly except christians & everyone else knows that he's just a flesh bag filled with hot air?!
None of that crap could ever insult me. personally, i think their beliefs are insult enough for them... so what they say to/about me could never phase me.
Edit:
My mom used to watch him & i'd catch him every so often when i went over and I just couldn't stomach him. On top of that.... I love Stephen Colbert. His show is great... He & Bill have this little "feud" so to speak going back & forth. Colbert went on Bill's show & Bill thought he was slick shooting his mouth off.... He just came off as being Obnoxious & arrogant. But Steven... in true form, took it all in stride and let Bill have his moment of pseudo-glory.... at least until Bill appeared on his show. Then he let him have it. Oh good times! That made me see O'Reilly for the arrogant jerk that he is.
I don't pay any mind to jerks. They're not worth my time, quite frankly.
As for hitler...... he was originally catholic. He actually used his religious position to gain more followers. Just like George Bush is using christianity to gain more supporters.

First of all Hitler was Catholic. Second of all Bill O' Reilly never lets his guests talk, he just interrupts them before they finish a sentence if he doesn't agree with them. And lastly religious people have caused just as much, if not more problems in this world throughout the history of man as non-religious persons.

There are few people as naturally offensive as o'reilly, but seeing as how poorly intelligent people look upon him, I certainly don't get offended by his comments. He has said far worse and my only thought is that the only people unintelligent enough to watch his show for anything more than hysterical entertainment have no public or personaly sway or reputation.

Nobody, surely, expects anything but rubbish out of O'Reilly's mouth? The man's living proof that evolution has hit-and-miss elements.

Hitler also wore boots on his feet. Should all boot wearers be insulted to be associated with Hitler in that aspect?

Atheists aren't organized. Atheists don't get the flack Christians get because Atheists don't have a set of rules that they have to follow and Atheists don't have meetings or congregate.
