I personally don't think it is a good idea. First of all the maturity levels are different. She will soon be 14 and he will be 18. Secondly, you should ask yourself what does a 17 year old boy want with a 13 year old girl; she is still a child mentally and physically. Thirdly at 13 do you really think that she understands what he may expect from her? I wouldn't allow her to go out with this person it may end up badly.

I is ok but probably not in your best interests because of such the age gap between you two. At this point in your lives you are too different and want different things from life. If you were to wait a few years, however unrealistic that may be, the difference wouldn't be as noticeable and may work out better.

I advise you to let him go but if you REALLY like him, go for it! Use it as a leaning experience if things go bad and if they turn out good in the end all the better.

Good luck!

This is not okay.

A 17 year old boy wants sex.

A 13 1/2 year old girl does not want to give sex.

Bad bad decision. You should help this girl get out of this situation if you can.

Well i think its not right, 14 is just too young for a 17 yr old.

I don't know...The guy I like just turned 17 last week and I'll be 15 soon and I think I'm pushing it. Probably too much. He is physically and emotionally more mature and might expect too much from you. Do what feels right. If you think "Hes a bit old..." subconsciously a lot, then he is.

I wouldn't venture down that road if I were you, you're in what Middle School, Jr. High? And this guy is about a year or so from graduation. Stick with guys more your age, once he turns 18 the relationship will be illegal and you could get him in a lot of trouble..

No it is not ok.
20 years from now when the age difference isn't so great between them. then sure.
Right time she is way too young to even date guys her own age let alone a 17 year old.
You are the parent.

No, no no no no, too much of an age difference. In some states, that's illegal. She needs to find someone a little closer to her own age.
