It starts out "I think I am better than them". Then it is all downhill from there.

It depends how you look at, from a perspective that says all human life is equal, you're the same as everyone else. But we are each given the chance to develop and pursue goals on an individual level, and some people require higher goals than others to feel content with their lives. In a sense, these people are better (they make more out of what they are given and generally work hard for the things they want), but there is no right answer here. Everyone has their strong and weak points, and you should focus on a person's strong ones before you judge them.

I've been looking for a man like you with $ to give away- lol @ Andy. Seriously, I was told I was the same as everyone else but always felt less than actually. Probably why I get defensive in here with trolls like mark

I am the same and I am better and I am less than.
No one is complete unto himself. there are areas of life where I am better or more knowledgeable or skilled than most others. There are areas where I'm totally helpless and dependent on others. In general, overall, things even out and it is true that all men are created equal.

Generally the same. I will qualify that I may be "better off" than some, but not better. Someone living in squalor may be a much better and moral person than me. Someone living in a cardboard box may be a very religious person. So on and so forth.

I am not "better", but I am more intelligent than 90% of the population. That is a bit of a drag at times. And that is not an egotistical statement, just a fact, from the test that I have taken. So basically I am different than many, but not better. There are many people that are 'better' examples than I and better at many thing than I am.

I'm not like other people. I've also seen the instability and bloat/crash cycles of the arrogent. I try to use a mental state of humility, most the time. I'm not better, I'm not worse, I'm just not like other people. They're not better than me, they're not worse than me, they're just different than me. This helps to keep me centered and realistic.

Inferior to others. I am a seething, stinking, blubbering pile of crap barely worthy to live and feed alongside swine.

May those many greater than me rejoice at my passing with singing and dancing as I die a thousand deaths and then be buried in the ceasepool of my own failed labors.

I would prefer to think myself better, but then reality takes hold and I have to face the real me...the same as everyone else, just different in different areas, but it all averages out in the long run.

Can I go with different?

If I had to pick one or the other though I'd say "better". This is simply because the way I live is "better" for me than the way some others choose to live.

Everything is relative..I'm a better golfer than my mother but not as good as Tiger Woods.
There are people better and worse than me at everything.
