I just checked my credit score and it is a 705... is this a good score??

I've been in mortgage lending with Wells Fargo....Your 705 score is good. You should not have a problem getting credit. Mortgage lenders are cracking down, so, be VERY protective of your credit, it'll pay off in the long run !

You need sufficient income to support a card. Even working min wage or part time will not suffice. And new regulations are making it almost impossible for anyone under 21 to get a card. It's not just about a credit score.

It's pretty good, higher than the average in America! I think anything above 700 is considered "Excellent", so you're in the lower part of the highest range.

Anything over 700 is very good (so you are just barely at the very good level). 750 is excellent. 850 is as high as it goes.
