There is no definitive answer to your question -- it depends on who you ask. Here are some of the health pros and cons:
PROS:
Calcium, which is important for healthy bones, is abundant in milk and dairy products. Although it's possible to get ample calcium without milk, it does take some careful planning. Additionally, the calcium in milk is well absorbed by the digestive tract because the vitamin D and lactose found in milk facilitate calcium absorption.
Skim milk and products made from skim milk are very low in fat and cholesterol, and contain a complete source of protein.
Milk is also a good source of phosphorous, magnesium, vitamin A, vitamin D, and riboflavin (a B vitamin).
CONS:
Whole milk, or anything made of whole milk, is high in saturated fat, which can increase cholesterol level.
Milk is a common cause of food allergy (allergy to milk protein).
Many people, especially adults, lack the enzyme to digest lactose (milk sugar). This is called lactose intolerance, which causes bloating, gas, and diarrhea.
Milk (and meat for that matter) may contain the antibiotics given to the animal before slaughter. It has been argued that when humans then eat the dairy or meat products, they absorb the antibiotics, potentially allowing for bacteria harmful to humans to become more resistant to these antibiotics. The consequence is that when antibiotics are prescribed, they may not be as effective at killing the bacteria as they once were.

i would say no, you eat chemicals in your grapes dont they spray grapes with chemicals? Statistics show that the chemicals that are added into milk help to prolonge its drinking span. Some people believe that drinking milk is unnatural since almost no other animal consumes the milk of another species. If we were to apply that same logic to everything that we do that other animals don't, we would find that there are very few things we could call ''natural''. milk is a rich source of calcium and minerals - that is scientific fact. Hope I answered youre question I do agree with the answer up top though its not too good when its sour LOL.
Hope I helped.

I don't think so. It would need to be extremely adulterated or "chemicalised" to become as bad as that. Actually, when you think about it, most of what you eat has preservers and chemicals. That's not to say that it is harmless, always prefer organic or home-made like foodstuffs.
MOST (notice I said most) products made with traditional methods are healthier as they have less additives. The downside is they usually go bad quicker, but it is not such a serious issue when you learn to measure your buying.
So, just try to get the most "natural" milk you can and you should be fine. If you can get fresh milk, by all means, prefer it over the commercially altered milk. Pasteurize it, though.
And no, milk is not bad. Unless you are lactose intolerant. ^__^

I hate drinking milk, so I'll say yes. It's bad for you. But if you're that worried, they do make organic milk so you don't have to worry about the chemicals.

Fibromyalgia, IBS, Crohn’s and MycobacteriaTB in milk
Fibromyalgia is said to be linked to IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) and spastic bladder. I have been reading questions and answers in the vegetarian section and one link suggested that cow's milk can have mycobacterium bovis (similar to tuberculosis) that can form spores that are resistant to being killed off in the high heat of pasteurization and the people on the website suggested that that may be the cause of IBS.
Here are some links.

http://www.gulfmd.com/general%20medecine/Tuberculosis.asp?id=14 (M. Bovis can cause TB)
http://www.pharmcast.com/Patents100/Yr2005/Mar2005/030105/6861053_Bowel030105.htm (patent for a treatment of IBS and fibromyalgia with anti-microbials or protobiotic agents,etc...links fibromyalgia to IBS to Raynaud's syndrome)
and to small intestinal bacterial overgrowth...mentions Mycobacterium paratuberculosis)(interesting...seems to cure a few too many diseases?)
http://focosi.immunesig.org/pathobacteria.htm (scroll down about 1/8 of the page down in the gram postitive section to see the links of mycobacterium paratuberculosis to milk..how it survives pasteurization and linking it to Crohn's disease and IBS)
http://www.mnwelldir.org/docs/history/biographies/louis_pasteur.htm#Pasteurization (pasteurization does not kill typhoid, coli bacillus, and tuberculosis are not killed by the temperatures used, and there have been a good number of salmonella epidemics traced to pasteurized milk…and the temps used destroy any antibacterial properties of milk)
Tuberculosis germs can affect or move to other parts of the body besides the lungs..including the spinal cord and brain, which is the reason why patients who test positive for tuberculosis but have no active (lung) disease are recommended to be treated with antibiotics, since the TB germ is merely kept “locked up” or under control by body defenses, not killed…
