and "In God We Trust" to the currency?

I think I see a direct correlation.

Didn't everything go to hell for the Fundamentalists shortly after that?

James, you are a moron.

You and I both know it was not on all currency before the 1950s.

GPBC, you may be onto something.

I'm going to closely study Pamela Anderson's breasts every day so I can foretell impending doom.

That's a great point. Plus it screwed up the whole cadence of the pledge of allegiance, which is the bigger crime.

i can understand your thinking however i believe it's more about morals and values. while they did happen - it was nothing like we see nowand not with the frequency. i believe especially int he cases of the younger people it is becuase money comes into a greater play a nd concern. they aren't happy with what they have because of the society we live in - more more more credit credit credit. people can't be happy with a hand me down outfit - it must be deisgner. parents are doing a lot of damage when the constantly give their children everything "money can buy" but do not instill values, morals and a work ethic. they want whatever they want and don't believe they should have to work for it - they have an entitlement complex.

You're wrong. The first mass murder at a school was in 1927 in Bath, Michigan. After that it wasn't until 1966 when another school massacre occurred. It's clear that drugs and rock and roll music was the cause of that shooting, although the true culprit was the CIA which was behind the development and distribution of drugs to the young people and the popularization of rock and roll music for the purpose of corrupting those coming of age at that time.

The 1950's were great - the fundies hadn't spread their hatred across America yet.

Pat Robertson is a Reverand and he wants to "Nuke the State Department", so where are all the Christians denouncing him? Our government even gives Mr. Robertson OUR tax money under the "faith-based initiatives." Talked about warped ideals.

You should blame Darwin and Hitler, not God:

*A journal of Eric Harris (one of the Columbine shooters), released in July 2006, confirmed a strong admiration of Nazism, Social Darwinism and genocide.

*In his "multi-media manifesto," Virginia Tech shooter Seung-Hui Cho referenced them as "martyrs like Eric and Dylan."

*The Heath High School shooting: Fourteen-year-old Michael Carneal opened fire on a group of praying students killing 3 girls and wounding 5 others.

*A quote from Kimveer Gill (the gunman involved in the Dawson College shooting): "I hate this world, I hate the people in it, I hate the way people live, I hate God, I hate the deceivers, I hate betrayers, I hate religious zealots, I hate everything ... I hate so much ... "

*A quote from Jeffrey Weise, a student at Red Lake High School in Red Lake, Beltrami County, Minnesota, who killed seven people: "Under a National Socialist government, things for us would improve vastly… and that is why I am pro-Nazi."

*Charles Joseph Whitman (The UT Tower Sniper): Fr. Leduc met with Whitman for the last time two months prior to the shootings and said that he had confided that he had lost his faith, and no longer considered himself a practicing Catholic.

I don't know where you are getting your information, but, I was born in the thirties and it was there.

The reason there are so many school shootings now, is because religion has been taken out of the schools.
Things like that didn't happen untill Atheists organizations started to corrupt our society..Like it or not, IT'S THE TRUTH.

That was also before Pamela Anderson had her breast augmentations too.

Then in 2001 shortly before 9/11 she had her bust reduced and look what happened.

There has got to be a correlation.
