This cake would be perfect, its easy and delicious and the name is perfect for a Hog Fry.

Pig Out Cake

1 box of yellow cake mix
1 small can (11oz) of mandarin oranges, undrained
1/2 c. oil
4- eggs

Icing:
12-16 oz Cool whip (I use 16 oz)
1 lg. can crushed pineapple, undrained
1 sm. pkg. instant vanilla pudding

Combine cake ingredients and mix well. Bake in rectangle pan at 350 degrees for approximately 30 minutes or until inserted tooth pick comes out clean.
Combine icing ingredients and spread on cooled cake.
Cake does need to be refrigerated until ready to serve.
* I sometimes add flaked coconut to the icing mixture.

why don't you try making a triffle. it feeds alot and is fairly cheap too make. Heres a good recipie:

store made sponge cake
canned peaches, pineapple, pears
bird eyes custard powder(follow can directions for the custard sauce)
strawberry or raspberry jam or your favorite jello
marchino cherries
35% whip cream

Tear cake into bite size pieces and add to a bowl, add fruit tht has been cut up. Also add some of the syrup from the fruit to the cake but not too much you don't wat it soggy. Add some of the jam or jello cut intto cubes. Prepare the custard sauce and cool slightly. Pourover the cake/friutmixture and let cool completely in the fridge. Once cooled whipp cream until firm spread over the triffle and decorate with the cherries. Good luck and hope that this is useful to you.

A hog fry without pie?? Look into refrigerated pies. Easy to do and as long as you have the fridge space, perfect.

1 pkg. pistachio pudding mix
1 15 oz. can of crushed pineapple, slightly drained
1 tub of Cool Whip
1 Keebler crust

Mix the pudding mix and pineapple and let sit for 10 minutes, fold in the Cool Whip, dump it into the crust and put it in the fridge for 4 hours.

Voila! Pie courtesy of my great aunt May.

What about a big messy fruit trifle with lots of cream and custard. The kids will have a ball.

Either cream pies or brownies.
