Why don't everyone take a break from proving 'this and that' religion is wrong, instead focus on converting people by their actions and deeds ?

It seems to me that everyone is trying to act like a prophet.

Everyone is trying to compete with each other's religion, as i see it.

If God is almighty, and controlling the earth(exclude satan), would'nt he make sure that the masses will worship him and give glory to his name ? ; then why do we intervene ? - Trust in the Lord, my friends

This life is just for another 30-40 years, then it's over... (but it's impossible to be perfect - we will all have to repent and feel ashamed.... but the good news still remains, that jesus died for our sins. What a wonderful sacrifice it is to those who believe)

Amen to that, Garry D.

However, to be fair, Y!A is about converting (by providing answers). I, for one, find it enlightening, and look forward to most of the answers here, be they from Jews, Christians, Muslims, Wiccans, other religions, Atheists, or us Agnostics.

When I first read the Bible it was so powerful and I knew it was inspired by God. The Bible is in harmony but Religion today is not. This was one of the main things I couldn't stand is how one church on the corner does not get along with the church right across the street. I searched and searched for the truth. Then I studied with Jehovah's Witnesses and they are clearly united and all of them believe the same thing.
They are all Brothers and Sisters no matter what Country your from or what nationality you are.
Jesus said you will know my people for the love they have for one another. This really stood out to me. My Wife and I got baptized in August 1996 as Jehovah's Witnesses. We have District Assemblies through out the summer and Brothers and Sisters come from all over the world to worship Jehovah.
This is the truth.

yeah, you see, that's great and all, but I'm trying to show you how to have salvation right here and right now, so that you won't have to feel ashamed. I'm not "preaching" my religion, I'm telling it how it is, so that you could perhaps have a little fun in this wretched world and obtain something actually useful, such as happiness. So if I offended any of you, than I can say with the utmost kindness, okay. Suit yourself.

Not to mention how counter productive arguing with people of other faiths. Christ describes himself as a bridegroom and sometimes it seems all His attendants watch too much Springer this is absolutely not the way to win hearts for Him. He wanted us to tell them and show them His love. This is not His love. He only corrected and argued with the Pharisees or religious leaders of His time. This behavior is juvenile and unbecoming a Representative of my Lord. Thank you for posting this.

Funny that you say that, because just then, you start talking about Jesus and God. If you want any form of peace whatsoever, don't start it.

Everyone has their beliefs, fine with me. Just no shoving it down my throat.

How about you stop evangelising for a religion with over 30,000 sects and which only one third of the world believes?

Hmm?
