Literaly the answer is no. Frida was a very private person when it came to her paintings and as she is dead you can not ask her.

There are however many people (if not everybody) that have feelings for these paintings. I believe that is it. Your feelings will explain them. Knowing a bit about her amazing life and great pain will help in this.

She was a very conflicted woman. a lot of her art has to do with her upbringing, her husband a famous muralist in Mexico and herself.Mostly her relationship with her husband if I remember correctly. I would read one of her auto biographies. She is cool though!
