What? Are you asking if teachers tell the kids to stay home from school or sending them home for no reason? so they get paid anyway and the kid gets counted out?
If that's what your asking then no. I very seriously doubt that a teacher would do that.

I have no clue what you're asking. However, if it's a matter of a kid staying home from school because he's afraid to go for whatever reason counts as a day of absence. Students are given 8 days maximum before it begins to really give their grades a hit. At 16, the school can hold the child back and/or fail him.

I really don't understand the question.

And yes teachers get paid no matter if your student comes to school or not, but the state actually pays money everyday that your child goes to school, if your child is not there then the school does not get paid.

For those of you being a bit "unkind" to Lois please read her profile. She evidently has had a lot of bad luck in her life and I personally think she is a sweet kind person...as I have had contact with her on other questions and answers. I'm sorry if my post is not within " yahoo guidlines".. but..report me or whatever..but she is a sweet/kind individual.
