when 2 women came to him and said the baby that one woman had she had stole from the other. The woman said this is my baby....yours died in the night and you want mine. So Solomon told the woman to put the infant down...she did...then he told his attendant to cut the child in two and give half to each woman..the woman who was holding the child laughed and said yes! cut it in two. But the other woman said no don't hurt the baby, give it to her. The true mother would not want her child harmed. The king gave the child to the mother who wanted to spare it's life. Thus proving how wise he was and it was because he had prayed for wisdom and discernment from Jehovah.

He had the gift of wisdom..yes he had 300 wives and 700 concubines. Humans make mistakes. wonder how many kids he had.
