it started with a very bad sorethroat & coughing but now i'm suffering a little couphing & pretty bad sneezing& real bad bone & skin pain & headache....

you have an upper respiratory infection, not the flu. If you have a fever greater than 103.0 then it is likely a bacterial infection and a doctor would give you antibiotics for it. If however, you do not have a fever that high, you have a virus.
You can shorten the duration of the URI and the severity of the symptoms by using Zicam nasal swabs, follow the instructions that come with it, drink lots of fluids, get plenty of rest. The virus has to run it's course.

Call your doc they have new meds that get rid of it in a few days instead of a week or two.
