There could be several reasons why it is showing two times.
Without knowing more about the subject --

If you are using a tri-merge report, you might order your real reports and see if it is listed twice. (tri-merges are not always completely accurate)

If the account had been sold/assigned to a collection agency, both the original creditor and the collection agency can legally report, but the original creditor "must" show a zero balance.
If one trade line is from the OC and the other is from a collection agency, file a dispute with the CRA's on the original creditor's trade line for inaccurately reporting a dollar amount. (state in the letter to correct it or delete it if unable to correct it within the time allowed)

If the original creditor is the one who has placed two seperate trade lines on your reports for the same account - file a dispute with the CRA's as duplicate accounts.
(state in the letter to correct it or delete both trade lines if unable to correct it within the time allowed)

If you use paid reports to dispute from, the CRA's must complete their investigation within 30 days. If you use the free FACT-ACT reports, they will have an extra 15 days to investigate (which could mean the difference between an account remaining instead of being deleted)

The CRA's don't always do what is right. If they fail to correct or delete, you may have to keep chipping away at it.

Again, without knowing more about what you are dealing with, I hope one of the things I listed helps.
