It's all about ratings. Rosie has always been very opinionated, she's just expressing it nationally now.
Elisabeth is young and conservative in a room full of liberals. When you're the only (no matter what the only is), there comes a time where you either wimp out and don't say anything, or you stand up and express your views. With a show like The View, that is in theory what they are supposed to be able to do.

I think they're on TV, but I haven't watched TV for a couple of months.

I did see something on Y!News though, about Rosie O'Donnell leaving The View.

Elisabeth is a narrow minded Anne Coulter wanna be. Rosie has the courage to play devils advocate and Elisabeth freaks out when that happens.

I think they are both individuals. I am not sure what your point is/was. Do I approve of homosexuality??? No. I recognise it is Ms. O'Donnell's choice. I personally loved her show, the early years specificly. I think she is a good actress.

As for the former Ms. Fizlarsky (spelling?) I thought she did pretty well on Survivor, but I don't know her personally.

Rosie has a spine. I respect her greatly. I'm not sure who Elisabeth Beck is.

Jehovah's Witnesses are Christians.

As true Christians, Jehovah's Witnesses believe they must be "no part of this world". Thus, Witnesses pursue NEUTRALITY in political, nationalistic, and social controversy. The bible quite plainly teaches that Jesus himself refused to become involved in the secular controversies of his day, but instead devoted himself to preaching the "good news of the Kingdom".

The benefits of that Kingdom are permanent, while every human work can only benefit temporarily.

(John 17:14-16) The world has hated [the followers of Christ], because they are no part of the world, just as I am no part of the world. ...They are no part of the world, just as I [Jesus] am no part of the world.

(James 4:4) Adulteresses, do you not know that the friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever, therefore, wants to be a friend of the world is constituting himself an enemy of God.

(John 12:7,8,48-50) . . .Jesus said: “...You have the poor always with you, but me you will not have always. ...The word that I have spoken is what will judge [a person] in the last day; because I have not spoken out of my own impulse, but the Father himself who sent me has given me a commandment as to what to tell and what to speak. Also, I know that his commandment means everlasting life.

True Christians should feel as did Jesus when taken a neutral stand when it came to worldly influence.
At John 15:19 Jesus said: “You [Jesus’ followers] are no part of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world.”

Thus true Christians are no part of the mass of human society that is alienated from God. They care for normal human activities, but they shun attitudes, speech, and conduct that are characteristic of the world and that conflict with Jehovah’s righteous ways.
