good looking, successful, little baggage, lives close by,etc. he ends the date after the coffee meeting, but when you meet a guy who is overweight or has bad teeth, doens't even buy you coffee, and has dependent children, you can't get rid of him and the date just goes on and on? I have had this to happen several times and it just seems like things go the opposite way.

the reason I would meet someone who was overweight or whatever is because they didn't look that way in their picture and said they were average size (I guess average is fat) and you can't always see a person's teeth very well in pictures or they aren't smiling in the pics.

really the nice or fat guys have nothing to lose... if they get far with you, hey you know what there about, but the other guy has chioces, so if your not he's first choice then....there you go..im not fat....lol

Something you're doing is turning off the "good" guy and the "bad" ones are willing to settle for less. I'm sorry to sound mean but that's the bottom line here.
Men don't like women with a bunch of strong opinions and they don't like a pain in the a**. It doesn't matter how pretty you are or how in style or with it you are, if you're a pain in the a** he's not interested (and men can spot one a mile away)Calm down, keep some things to yourself, talk about HIM and DO NOT say anything about marriage or kids unless he brings it up first. Nothing turns a man off faster or more completely than a desperate woman who's looking for a husband and wants to start pumping out babies. Think about what he might want for a minute. Be yourself just tone it down a little.

Well because the guy that you are downing knows that there are probably more women out there that are going to do what you are doing so he makes the entire ordeal count. On the other hand Mr. Suave knows that he is Mr. Suave and he does not have to try as hard to get what he wants. So maybe you should start looking for a different type of not saying that you should start dating guys that you think are unattractive but guys that are more down to earth and serious. Also do not expect things, let things fall where they may.

Girl, you need an "out" call scheduled. Pre-arrange someone to call you at a certain time. Then you can say you have to go. If you don't want to go, of course you don't have to.
Or, just say, I can only meet for an hour because I have another appointment. Then you won't have to stay.

You have to know the quality guy is busy. The moron (whom you somehow accepted a date with) is certainly in over his head with you and would have to bull rush his feelings to have a chance. That's human nature. Good luck finding a winner.

The nice guys prolly end the date early because they arent intterested, and want to leave. The ugly guys prolly wont end the date because they like you and want something to come out of it.

maybe if you stop a second and try to like the guy for what he is and not his looks... you would find a decent person... a lot of these good looking men are like this because they also want somebody, good looking and successful etc. Look for somebody that can be your soul mate... don't look for somebody you would like to show off, because you can lose them easily...
