Might I suggest you do five interviews

A JW Elder, from which you will get experience;
A recently Baptized witness, from which you will get the reasoning behind their decision;
An 18-year-old witness, from which you can get what it is like to deal with peer pressure to do things not in keeping with the faith;
A 12-year-old witness, to understand how their children are not separated from the parents to learn just Bible Stories, but the Bible as a whole.

Now, the fifth can be a disfellowshipped with, such as I am, but you will be dealing with a person who may or may not give you a balanced view. There are those, like myself, who knows we did wrong and accept the action taken, and there are those who rejected the decision, believing no one has any business how they live their lives, regardless of the morality. They will often makeup stories about what why they were disfellowshipped.

There is also the problem of getting someone who claims to have been a disfellowshipped witness, who never was one in the first place.

Make sure you do these interviews in person, not over the Internet, as the person could be anyone.

While I would probably be able to help you, I would prefer you call a local Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. The reason being that several on here have at one point claimed to be Witnesses, but turned out to not be. Sadly allot of people online like to make things up. If you do not want someone coming to your home, you can make arrangments to meet up with them someplace neutral or you can ask them to answer you over the phone, at least then you will know it is a Witness answering.

If you are uncomfortable with this, then you may email me. I will try to answer you over email, though some queries are best answered in person.

Well I’m not about to give my number out to all who want to see. My husband and I are both active servants of Jehovah and are willing to answer 10 questions. Go ahead and email me if you choose. I agree with the other brother and sisters comments about contacting your local Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. They will be able to sit down with you and even use your copy of the Bible to show you answers.

Look up your local Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall in the phone book, and ask someone to visit with you. They are always glad to share the God's truth, and will probably give you some literature too. Also, you can go to www.watchtower.com to learn more about the basic beliefs of the church.

Any local witness would come to your home or talk with you on the phone. Call your local Kingdom Hall.

I hope all you witnesses are cautious not to give your phone number.
