Can you get rid of Window's Genuine Validation tool?

Can i uninstall this?

not that i'm aware of, no you can't

I think MS is going around and checking for illegal versions. My PC is almost two years old and just recently I received a pop-up from Microsoft that it was validating my software. (It is legal)

Yes but it won't give you back much space and you'll need it again if you want to validate your license.
