This is a very practical and serious question. Does He ACTUALLY avenge His children's suffering!? It seriously doesnt seem like it. At least not nowadays. I've been going through a lot of bad crap and God doesnt seem to be there or care.

Yes, God does avenge us when people persecute us and mistreat us. The only thing is that He will do it in His timing and not when we want His to. When I was in the army, there were these certain guys who percuted me and mistreated me for about 18 months. I left Ft. Riley, Kansas and went to Kirchgons', Germany. From there I went to Iraq. Well, these same guys who persecuted me, they were on my track vehicle at Ft. Riley, Kasas. They also went to Iraq. However, when I came from the Gulf War. I picked up a Army Times magazine and I began to read it. Then I saw an article about my squad that I was with a Ft. Riley. An M-1 tank had shot them and killed the whole crew. I was very grieved when I read this. My last thoughts there I hope they were saved before they died. But at the same time, you can not treat God's people any old kind of way and something not happen.

That's a great question.

God is merciful, but if God is just, mercy cannot rob justice. The Atonement of Jesus Christ resolves the dilemma, but that's too much to go into for this answer.

Justice is sometimes postponed during our lives on earth so we can see what happens when people make both good and bad choices without the carrot or the stick hanging over us. In other words, God can and does tell us the principles of happiness, but to really understand them, many if not most of us need to experience what happens when people are free to choose both bad and good without immediate justice.

He is there. And I can tell you without a doubt that He cares. I am sorry that you are gong through a rough patch. Keep seeking God. Our ways are not always His. He has a plan. God bless you.

Ok, God has let us know that we will be persecuted. Jesus Christ was and we're not greater than he. Our faith must be tried. Now, what was your question?

Yes, he does. "Vengenance is mine, I will repay, saith the Lord." Whether you see it on earth or not, you can rest assured that there will be eternal consequences.
