that has a pretty good memory and can take videos.-and simple enough to figure out?
Canon? Kodak? Sony?
I'm thinking $300 limit-is that possible?

kodak and sony are nt good digital cameras imo...
go for a canon instead...get the ixus 850
its a great camera, with big LCD screen easy to use
and it can take vid...u can buy SD cards if u need more
memory...

resason why i recommed u the canon, it is much easy to use, it has good ISO control over the kodak and sony...they are value for money and produce good quality images.

I got a Sony Cybershot with 7.2 megapixels for my birthday and it is pretty easy to use and it takes video. Mine was around $250. I have always prefered Sony with most electronics.
