Anti-social personality disorder is not the disorder where people avoid society.

It's this:
Antisocial Personality Disorder Symptoms

Disregard for society's expectations and laws
Unlawful behavior
Violate rights of others (property, physical, sexual, legal, emotional)
Physical aggression
Lack of stability in job, home life
Lack of remorse
Superficial charm and wit
Impulsiveness

Yes, they are a threat to this world.

I believe that many of you confused antisocial personality disorder with avoidant personality disorder. This disorder is the one where a person avoids society.

Rose you are correct about antisocial personality disorder...but incorrect about avoidant (this one is rarely used so I understand). People with avoidant personality disorder avoid things which make them anxious...such as flying, driving, heights, etc. But good job on the antisocial personality disorder...I think a few people here must have it (just kidding).

don't panic

I feel stupid I'm a nurse and I did think that it meant hermits. Thank you for the information but I didn't see your first question. We definitely need to be on guard against the likes of them. Are they Sociopaths?
