No way! No how! No Help! No pathways to citizenship. I don't want lawbreakers anywhere near me or my children. Let's get the laws enforced. Round them up. Hold them on abandoned military bases, mental hospitals, etc. Be sure they are separated so that they can't make any more anchor babies. Implant them with rice chips or some other form of biometric identification and then give them a choice -- either go back to your country and take your family with you or stay here in jail and work for 30 years until your sentence is complete and your fines and back taxes are paid. Then you can get limited permission to stay but you can never become a citizen! You can just have legal resident status. Notice I said 30 years! If the illegal can get a sponsor to provide them with housing and guarantee their legal behavior and pay their expenses, we might consider reducing the 30 year sentence. Still no pathways to citizenship because your loyalty will always be in question. Oh, and just like we register sex offenders, Illegals should be required to register every time they move and their names and addresses should be available to all citizens and law enforcement officers for the purpose of keeping track of their activities. Maybe we could even consider having tracking devices attached to them to keep them within a certain area at all times. If they want to leave the state, they would have to get permission from the court and provide an itinerary. Yes, I'm saying they would be prisoners of a sort.

If they choose to go back to their country, we'd provide the transportation. However, if they return to the USA illegally, they get shot and/or tried as spies and enemy combatants.

If they go back to their country voluntarily, then they can get in line behind others who want to come to the USA. After a 7 year wait, they should be allowed to apply to come back and because they left voluntarily, they could be given some brownie points and maybe even get to become citizens. That's fair to us! Instead of getting a pass, they have to pay the price.

Not amnesty, guest worker status, or any other legalise wording that has the same or similar result. If we were to do that, why not let all the prisoners in our jails and prisons out too. After all, they have only broken our laws also.

Antis, that is the very rational that we do not want here. Just "breaking a few laws" is why we have people in jails and prison here. There are no exceptions. It doesn't matter how hard you work, if you are breaking the law, you are a criminal and criminals should go to jail. You have just given the greatest reason we do not want illegals here, they think they are different and should not be held to the standards the we
Americans desire. And about our standards, they are ours, if you don't like them, why in heck do you want to come here? To screw our country up as you evidently have yours??

I vote No also.
Interesting. If you use this forum you will find that 1 illegal alien voted yes, 1 person felt our government was illegal so he doesn't really count.
Conclusion 100% of the respondents voted no. The illegal doesn't get to vote because he is not a citizen.

How is it then that Gallup has somehow decided that their poll indicates that 80% of Americans favor some sort of amnesty? Just goes to show you figures don't lie but liars do figure.

Please stop calling them illegal immigrants because they are not. They are illegal/overstaying aliens. Amnesty will only give these illegals more reason to continue doing this lawless act. So there you go. No. No. No.

IF EVER the government decides to commit hara-kiri by giving amnesty, I suggest they balance this stupidity by giving out an equal number of immigrant visas to those who want to enter the country legally. The backlog is more than 10 years!**

NO WAY! Not only does it reward the criminals for breaking our laws but it allows them to bring MORE people into the country. Along with that the invasion will increase because the illegals will still come for the next round of amnesty.

This doesn't even take into account the financial disaster amnesty will cause. It will bankrupt us.

EDIT: Hey Anti - You stated, "If someone is a good person except for just a few little crimes that don't really matter." FEW LITTLE CRIMES? You are admitting they are criminals! Crimes don't matter? That's a load of crap!!!

the authorities claims it would want to under no circumstances deport the 12 to twenty million unlawful extraterrestrial beings (not "immigrants", not "workers") because enormous employer makes billions through exploiting the so-suggested as "less costly" overseas demanding artwork. enormous employer pays for political campaigns and so "there is not any thanks to deport them". Even the president, our nationwide Knucklehead, really has made the declare that by some skill we favor criminal extraterrestrial beings to "do the jobs no American will do." What a horrendous lie. There are not any jobs human beings gained't do; only jobs they gained't do for slave wages. If the authorities wanted to flush the unlawful alien bathroom, all it would want to ought to do is implement latest employment guidelines and deny all authorities advantages to unlawful extraterrestrial beings. Lock up some dozen CEOs and lazy blue collar slobs and the rustic will take observe. decrease off the welfare and nutrition stamps and %. and Maria will be wading back by the Rio Grande as quickly as they can. end of tale.

Absolutly not. They broke the law and we already gave amnesty a shot and a few thousand turned into MILLIONS and millions of anchor babies in 20 years. Well be up with China and India in another 20 years at this rate.

Anti......stick your head out of the barrio and look around sometime......our immigration policies are not racist. We've got people here from every corner of the world and from snow white to dark black and every shade between, every size, ethnic group or relegion........so don't even play the race card. Doesn't fly.

Absolutely NOT! There are so many benefits given to them already....they don't need more reasons to come her illegally and giving the ones that are already here amnesty will just make others more eager to get in.

Amnesty is not a good choice.
Is a bad message to the people.
It just going to increase the amount of people immigrating here.
And the criminals too.
