Gardenias are very floral and beautiful. Add with them some blue Niko Hydrangeas. It would be nice if they were in a simple pedestal vase. To add a splash of pizazz, you can set the vase on a mirrored tray and place candles on it. You can distribute confetti (little crosses and such) that you can buy at a party store or clergy shop.
I hope this gives you a start on ideas.
Good luck

One thing that I always do for centerpieces is to make sure they are multi level. . .like if I were to use a couple of candles, I would take a small box or similiar object and place it on the table then drape a small colored cloth over the box. Place your main piece of your center piece on the box and maybe something else on the table level. I usually try to do a high level piece, middle level, and then table level. It really helps to display the objects.

How many tables? Hobby Lobby has the glass cyliner vases pretty cheap. You can put flowers in the bottom, fill with water part of the way up.....and if the flowers don't float, you can put floating candles on the top.
Here's something like that:

One web site had small wicker baby carriage with about 5 roses, baby's breath and greenery. Finding the carriages would be the tough part.
How about something with rubber duckies?

Love the rubber duckie idea with all that dunkin' going on! They'd be colorful, boyish, affordable -
You might check www.orientaltradingcompany.com for party favors, maybe even duckies, that could be clustered cutely somehow to make centerpieces that folks could take something home with them.
