My period still hasn't came and I'm about 12 days late. I took a pregnancy test about 2 days ago and it came out Negative. I'm feeling slight pains in my lower back and occasional "shock" feelings by my lower abdominal. I'm thinking I've been experiencing these feelings because of worrying and they're "making me feel like I have the symptoms." Am I pregnant?

Nope just because your 12 days late or you may not even have one this month that doesn't mean that you are pregnant. It could be many different reasons. One reason could be because of stress. Another could be that you have a cyst. I mean they are all kinds of reason as to why it hasn't showed up yet. I wouldn't worry about it just yet. If you don't have one next month then i would start to wounder why. Maybe your period is just switching start dates I know that sounds funny, but that's what mine did. Good Luck

It is not uncommon for women to skip a month when under stress or following an illness. Some of us just get our flow every-other-month. So, if you are married, what's the problem with pregnancy? If you are single, why would you put yourself in that position of getting pregnant? Natural consequences. You can't depend on birth control - three of mine were born that way.

The earliest sign of pregnancy and the reason most pregnant women initially see a physician is missing a menstrual period. For sexually active women who are of reproductive age and have regular periods, missing a period for ≥ 1 wk is presumptive evidence of pregnancy.

it will be at least another week or so till the hormones are in your system to take an at home test.. if you are if you are worried go to the dr and ask for a blood test ... I had the same thing with my son I was late and the tests said negitive .. I knew I was because I am never late ... so wait a bit and then take another test

Since your tests are negative, it might be worth going to the doctor to get a blood test that might give a more accurate result.

Either wait a week or so and take another test or go to your doctor and do one there, they can check you out as well to see if it might be something else if you are not.
