I was once a college athlete with trainers and what not to show me the way. Now I am on my own and not sure what to do. Can anyone give me some examples of exercises I should start with. I want to tone my body (lose 10 lbs) and bulk up a little bit. Thanks!

Ok, um, to make it a little clearer: what are some exercises, and I agree sex is a good one. But other than sex (which I can't really do with my husband at the gym) can I do to start making a difference?

To bulk up and be more lean protein shakes in the morning before your work-out. Walks are great for keeping you healthy, jogs are great for building muscle and slowly shedding pounds. Do you have a jogging stroller? Also squats are really great exercises that tone your butt and thigs! I love to do them while watchign commercials (just had a baby need to lose some pounds as well)
As for the gym I would try to work up to doing 40 minutes of cardio everyday (except Sunday of course :D) Switch it up, one day on the treadmill, one day on the bicycle, and eliptical.
Then I would suggest strength training for three days a week, one day do legs, next arms, and next abs, back ect.
We should be online weight loss pals! Haha....

OH also a great way to exercise with your kids is dancing, even if it is silly dancing, I love to dance silly in front of my daughter she is entertained and I am exercising. Also when I am cooking and waiting for something to boil or whatever, I try to dance around haha.

You can do the doggy, and missionary styles. Sex is a wonderful way to burn calories. You can get a good leg work out too.
