why do top administration officials lie to the world and think we dont see it? they tell the iraqi's that they're committment is not open ended,then they tell the citizens of the united states that they will leave when the mission is finished. huh? am i missing something here? if your commitment is not open ended then why the double speak?this mission will never be finished because they cant realize a single goal they set out for.unless they keep changing the parameters to fit their exit excuse.correct me please.

even General Petraus says there is no way to measure progress in Iraq.
the US military will be a presence there for the next several generations. let's just admit it.

You can understand this if you want to, but if you don't, you won't.
Let's pretend you are teaching a child to swim. You're in the water with them, holding them up while they figure out how to do it.
Would there be a difference between you telling the child he's going to have to do this on his own "soon", and your boss in the pool chair with the umbrella in his drink demanding that you get out of the pool NOW and leave the child to manage as best he can?

double speak is a politicians best friends...Just look at Bush when he said(in order to get elected and make fun of Bill Clinton, who was pretty good at double speak himself) that he would never undertake in nation building and that America should not be in that business...hmmmm, seems like we have been doing a lot of that lately, with another 150 billion on the way

they are only for themselves (powerful corporate entities)
the people of America have had their government "HIJACKED"
the elite present their top Democrat and their top Republican
for the people to vote for
they are but cut from the same cloth?????
