Check into food allergies. There's lots of books on the subject. Also have your pediatrician check it out thoroughly.

I would first talk to his doctor and ask them if there could be medical problems and if he is actually underweight. Also, find out how much liquid he should have - and only give him that much.
Watch how much he is drinking - when my daughter was 2 i made the mistake of continuing w a large amount of milk & she just wasn't hungry.

She is a very picky eater but the thing i've learned is when she's hungry she can eat more than me. When she's not going through a growth spurt, then she doesnt eat as much.
Dont force food upon him, he'll eat as much as he needs. Plus this will just lead to overeating in the future.

We had a problem like yours with my daughter whos 2 a couple months ago, where she refused to eat. No matter what we tried to feed her she wouldnt touch it and she ended up losing some weight . we took her to the doctor regularily to keep a close eye on it. but we couldnt figure out why she wouldnt eat. the only thing she would touch was a cheez whiz sandwich. turns out all it was was she was drinking too much milk. So for 2 days when she wanted a drink all she got was water and by then she was starved, it was an unbelievable change in her. Now she only gets a glass of milk with her cereal and at lunch and she is eating all the time.

My son is like that too, but he grows bone, and are taller than other two year old, just make him drink milk twice a day, supliment with vitamin and tell him to go outside to play, since sun light activate calcium and vitamin D.

Maybe he is laking vitamins of some kind or has a medical condition. My cousin eats like a trucker and is still thin but with medication and diet he is very healthy.

I would call your doctor. He may have something wrong with his metabolism. They can offer you great advice for feeding him.

Definately have lots of fresh veggies, fruit, meat and potato's around for him. Milk too. Cut out the juices!!! Throw away the junk food. He'llbe fine!

Give him some pasta with cheese and sauce, kids love this and it adds weight while giving good carbs.
