I highly suggest if your looking for a good source of good clothing at a great price. If you don't mind used clothing check out your local area twins clubs. You can use links at nomotc.org to find your states page and from there local area clubs. All clubs use consignment sales as a means of accruing money for the clubs use and helping their moms. These sales are huge and are some of the best prices you'll find for used clothing and other infant/childhood items (even cheaper than a lot of consignment shops). Sales occur usually once or twice a year depending upon the club. Other suggestions retail would be (on line) gymboree, baby gap, janie and jack, baby style and some of the Osh Kosh stuff offered at target is very cute.

Old Navy...My son has been wearing a pair of jeans from there a few times a week for almost 9 months..and he is a normal active 2 year old...The still look new..I think they have the biggest selection of boys clothes that I have seen at a good price that also don't have the brand name all over them..You can also find some cute boy tshirts at kmart...I have never shopped at gap or the children's place..old navy, k-mart, jcpenneys and wal-mart seem to be the places where myself or family gets lil man his clothes..You could try TJ maxx or Ross but that is always a hit and miss..

My son is 15 months. I buy his clothes at garage sales, on ebay and end of season sales for stuff for the next year. I spend a fraction on my sons clothes compared to what my friends spend for their kids, and I always get compliments for what he is wearing. I absolutely love garage sales for the great prices and being able to haggle the price. (I find many new items at sales).

Another reason-many of these clothes are last years style, so they're aren't too many kids wearing the same clothes.

At Younkers/elderbearman, after seasons they put their clothes on clearence, after that, they have big sales where the they do an additional 70 percent off of the clearence!

I like this gently used store called Once Upon a child because they only take clothes in like new or new condition. They usually have name brands for cheap as well. You could also try Burlington Coat Factory- if they have a baby depot in it.

I have found that different brands fit different kids good. My niece fits in gymboree and children's place really good and my nephew fits the best in old navy, gap and tommy hilfiger. He is a lot smaller around the waist then she is.
I buy a lot of their clothing on ebay, you can get things a lot cheaper than at the store.

Target, Kohls, Children's Place, Old Navy, Mervyns, Wal-Mart. I absolutely love the selection at Kohls and Old Navy...Kohls usually has good sales and Target is cheap but the variety is limited. I'm not a mommy but I love to shop for friends and family. :)

I about 90 percent of the time buy my kids clothes online. Neiman Marcus, Macy's, Bloomingdales. They usually have great sales that you can take advantage of. Check in the baby section.

My granddaughter is about that age. We get her stuff from Wal-Mart, Target, or on freecycle.com. Kids outgrow stuff so often that people just GIVE the clothes away.
