"And they were all built by someone, correct?"
--Yes
"But then you turn around and say nobody created the universe or the planets or even humans for that matter?"
-- No. I say that's most likely to be the case.
"So if something as simple as your house didn't come about by chance--how did this universe, this earth, plants, animals, and people all come about by chance?"
-- I don't know. What's your point? That doesn't mean there is a god.

Because the universe was not created by a god, but instead was a series of random chances and natural selection.
A house is not something that can grow on its own; it has to be built by someone. A plant can grow on its own, though, given sunlight, soil, and water. An animal can grow on its own given sufficient food to survive. There's a huge difference between the two that renders your analogy completely useless.

This argument is so old and tired it is ridiculous. Houses don't 'come into existence' by chance. No atheist says that the universe came into existence by chance. There are multiple theories as to how the universe came to be and none of them require a god to work.

Because none of it came about by "chance." You obviously have no understanding of science...
Everything came about by the laws of nature. Gravity, Phsyics, Natural Selection, Thermodynamics, they all molded the Universe into what it is today.
Every single issue of complexity has been found to have a scientific reason. It used to be thought that there was no way planets could revolve around the sun, but it was discovered that gravity would naturally result in this phenomon. It used to be thought that life was too complex to be chance, but evolution (the opposite of a chance - it's a non-random filter of *selection*) explains precisely how complexity arises in life and how it necessarily must be adapted to perfectly match its environment. In every instance complexity has been found to have a solid explanation by virtue of the natural laws of the universe.

My house is not a living entity capable of reproducing itself, so this is still just a strawman question.
If every effect needs a cause, where did your god come from?
>>>how did this universe, this earth, plants, animals, and people all come about by chance? <<<
What about the phrase "by chance" don't you understand?

Oh wow. Youre original. Like, I didnt see that coming...so let me repeat what I said in your last lame question:
Again, you confuse humans with inanimate objects such as houses.
It is also apparent that you do not understand the concept of evolution, as it has nothing to do with CHANCE. Please try to read a book on the subject, rather than taking silly questions that have been beaten to death by logic, and repeating them. Learn something - dont be a parrot.

I said I DO NOT have a house. Like most Christians, you know how to read but do not. Also, I said many different people are involved. It's a plural cooperative project. How could you think a singular deity could create so much?

This is so silly, it doesn't deserve a serious answer. So here's an answer it deserves:
It all came about because the Great Turtle had a dream and we are the dream the Great Turtle is dreaming. Doesn't that sound nice?

Okay to all of the people that say "it didn't come about by chance, it came about by science."
Where did science come from? The boogeyman? Did it create itself? (Because if science created itself, then you would probably have to conclude that Science was begotten not made, one in being with physics).
