When people close their brain and follow things that make no SENSE then they are unable to use that same brain to distinguish between right and wrong.

Torture will have every excuse because they no longer have the ability to judge between right and wrong. They only follow their leaders blindly like robots.

Yes. This is possible, with unyielding conditioning, brainwashing, peer pressure, and enough evil payola.

Sure, just look at the military. Most of the promises they make to new recruits fall short and they turn them into killing machines during their training. They fight for their church (whatever one that is they believe in) and their state (the country in which you live) all the time. They are taught to follow orders without question, and are thus "mindless" as well. Oh wait...you were trying to spew hate toward normal believers who have done nothing wrong to you or anyone else. Sorry, my mistake.

church and state can think for you what is good and what is not good. why would that be contradictionary ? the state is a democratic institute, the church knows all about moral. everyone should do what they are good at, if you can be a defender of these beliefs then why not join the armee to maintain peace in your country and other parts of the world ? isnt thinking for the philosophers ? the real issue is not the contradiction the real issue is the paradox on one hand a soldier defends on the other hand he attacks , he attacks to defend , he sleeps so that he can walk, he walks and sleeps , sleeps and walks , and the world weights his actions and his actions weights the world
