Sorry, not one of you foretells of the coming of our Lord, not one talks of his sacrifice, or his rising from the dead. It is all pretty vague and is open to whatever interpretation you want to put on it. Most of you tell me to go to one book or another, but not one of you can quote a single passage that points to Jesus as the son of God who will die for us. It's not that I disbelieve I just don't believe in propaganda or misleading interpretation.

Isaiah is what is normally used to find the coming of Jesus... the FIRST TIME. There is NOTHING there that says he will die and come back and THEN all will be well. As a matter of fact, it states the True Messiah will be the one who sets up God's Gov't in Israel..... again, it says nothing of dying and coming back to do this. Forced prophecy.

Look up Yeshua in the Strongs Exhaustive. It means Savior. Read Isaiah 53. There are many Messianic prophecies in Isaiah. And they found almost a complete scroll of Isaiah in the dead sea scrolls, and it has the same message.

You also can do a search for questions about Messiah prophecies. Some people have answered with web sites of hundreds of fulfilled prophecies.

At John 5:46 Jesus said:
"if YOU believed Moses YOU would believe me, for that one wrote about me."
When discovering Jesus was the Christ, some followers exclaimed:
"Philip found Na·than′a·el and said to him: “We have found the one of whom Moses, in the Law, and the Prophets wrote, Jesus, the son of Joseph, from Naz′a·reth.” John 1:45
Practically all the prophets of old had a line or 2 re Jesus.
Acts 10:43 " . . .To him all the prophets bear witness."

All of it really.

And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.

And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.

Though it is there, everywhere, it needs to be understood.

Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures.

How are you to understand it?

Isaiah. The first part of the Messiah is all prophecy from it.

Pick a prophet, any prophet. They ALL speak of Christ. Isaiah did several times, but they all spoke of Christ and His coming.

Wrong question.

The OT has been rewritten since the NT events.

The question is what passage on the Torah (The original OT document) foretells the coming of Jesus.
