Matthew 7 (Jesus speaking to the Pharisees)
9"Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! 12So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.

Romans 2-
13For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God's sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous. 14(Indeed, when Gentiles, who do not have the law, do by nature things required by the law, they are a law for themselves, even though they do not have the law, 15since they show that the requirements of the law are written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts now accusing, now even defending them.)

This is for anyone, Christians, as a fellow believer and Lover of Christ, can we please stop insisting that people who do not have the Bible are not Moral? There are plenty of people, and Christ even specifies in the Scriptures, that those who do not have God can still be morally minded individuals. I'm not saying that the moral mindedness will get them to Heaven, but they are not all barbaric idiots seeking to do evil at every juncture.

Even those who do not have Christ as their Savior do not choose to do the sinful thing everytime they have a choice. And those without Christ still have consciences. Let's not treat humans as less than human simply because they do not have Christ, and stop asking the stupid questions such as "How do atheists have morals if they don't have Christ?"

Let's not show ourselves to be ignorant people. As Paul states in 1 Timothy "study the Scriptures to show yourselves approved workmen of God"

Can we all agree on this? What are your opinions?

Amen mi amigo! YES people can still be moral and not have Jesus in their lives. NO just because someone does not have Jesus in their life that does not make them any less of a person. Well in my religion Christianity Jesus basically says we should all like one another no matter what race, religion, etc.

If someone applys a million Cor. 13 kind of affection in the direction of others and shows Gal 5 kind of fruit then particular they are going to be with out even understanding or not that's obeying the regulation. you nonetheless have not asked a query. i don't think of that everybody who claims to be an atheist or a catholic or something runs around finding for evil to do. Such generalizations tend to comb each christian into the comparable dustbin to be discarded. i'm the main fundelmentilist right here from i've got considered and that i don't hate nor condemn all people even though it easily would not recommend I won't tell them the fact. If the fact looks condemning then goodness perhaps deep down interior they comprehend that what they're doing is incorrect. hmm?

Religion, never mind the type of religion, is not a requirement for having morals. We have all seen plenty of non-religious people who have superb morals, and we've all seen the most religious people who have horrible morals.

Religion, or lack thereof, is not indicative of moral standing.

Thank you for your understanding and thoughtful "question." I wish there were more people (Christian and others) who see that peace and understanding is what we must philosophically fight for. You have turned your sword back into a plowshare.

Bright blessings
