We didn't know that we needed extra accessories when we bought our HDTV. We don't have the money to pay extra fees every month.

Satellite signal is already digital and should be pretty clear even in standard definition.

If possible, use the component output (R/g/B cables) from your set-top to your TV. Standard composite cable (yellow) can be pretty noisy

If you have the TV for a long time, rememeber on DLPs, you need to replace the light bulb when it loses its brightness by more than half. (1,000-4,000 hours, depending on model)

DLP is rear projection, picture clarity is one of the disadvantages of this technology and why these units are cheaper then the others. Sorry!

Buy an off-air antenna. It finds high definition signals that are broadcasted for free.
