For Christians is your faith strong enough that in the days to come you are willing to lay down your life? If God asked you to stay behind after the rapture to help save others, would you be willing to live through all that for others?
For those of other beliefs would you die for your beliefs and please explain.

My faith is strong enough to lay down my life! But this question is null and void (an oxymoron) because the Christian belief and the word of God says that the righteous will be caught up in the air and taken with Jesus.

So we will be saved from this decision automatically. God has the plan already redeemed us from the earth.

Another will minister to those left behind. Go at a bible on line search and see God's plan! redeemed from the earth.

1 Thessalonians 4 (New International Version)
The Coming of the Lord
Verse 15--
"According to the Lord's own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep."

Verse 16
"For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first."

1 Thessalonians 4:17 (New International Version)
After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.

It is never two sided with God, He wrote the book and can see around the corner too (He knows the future). LOL

Isaiah 30:21
Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, "This is the way; walk in it."

Ecclesiastes 3:11
He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end.

Isaiah 46:10
I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say: My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please. Isaiah 46:9-11 (in Context) Isaiah 46 (Whole Chapter)

Daniel 8:19
He said: "I am going to tell you what will happen later in the time of wrath, because the vision concerns the appointed time of the end.

Habakkuk 2:3
For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false.

:-)

Admonish means to correct or make the correction by showing; example: It is a

VERB:
1. To reprove gently but earnestly. 2. To counsel (another) against something to be avoided; caution. 3. To remind of something forgotten or disregarded, as an obligation or a responsibility.

"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord"

As life is the one gift we can actually touch, most religions don't look kindly on embracing an untimely death for any reason.

Aside from a willingness to die in battle to preserve ones nation and family; aside from a willingness to risk ones own life to save loved ones from death; squandering ones life over what amounts to little more than an argument over the "right" path to heaven must be the ultimate sin.

As far as the "rapture," personally I can't wait for these book burners to leave the planet.

Orgy at my place. BYOB.

I'm Catholic and we don't believe in the Rapture, so yes, I'd stay behind to help others. I have some medical training that may be needed, and in times of strife, people always need a shoulder to lean on.

God won't ask us to stay behind after the rapture because that's when He will come to take His people out of this world, right before He pours out His wrath on Satan, Satan's angels and the unrepentant. Check out the first link below.

I am spiritual, not so much religious, but if some big guy in the sky came down and asked me to stay on and help people, I think I'd be convinced to do so! LOL. I live my life the best way that I can, and that's all that I can do.

A belief in a religion or a god-structure is not a belief that is worth dying for. The belief in the sanctity of life and the equality of humans is worth dying for, the belief in everyone's right to be free is worth dying for. Whether my magical sky pixie is better than yours is not worth dying for. A supreme being needs no such sacrifice from us, in the same way we need no such sacrifice from ants in order to lead full lives.

Yes I'd willingly lay down my life for Yahshua.

Your assuming a rapture which isn't provable.

I'm an unbeliever and no, I would not give up my life-especially for something
I say in a few minutes under threat. Besides, whatever I SAY, or whatever the person threatening me believes, that does not change what is.

Is rapture official catholic doctrine or a made up D.I.Y. religious belief?
