i think we have some of the fault in how we treat people that dont have the same beliefs. instead of treating them with love (like Jesus told us to do !! ) ,we condemn and point out to them (we judge - which we are not entitled to do !) .
But we need to remember that ,once upon a time ,we didnt believe either... its not fair..its not respectful, and as a consequence we`re treated the same - disrespectful.

It is God`s mercy, not His wrath that makes a person turn his/her eyes to Him.

ps: I`m a Christian.

..and precisely because we condemn others to do what we dont even do ourselves..we are called hypocrites. they`re right, sometimes. we should only look out to God and get help in what concerns our own behaviour. THEN we can worry about another person`s behaviour..when we listen up to Jesus.

That's a two way street. I've seen plenty of Christians on this site call Atheists a bunch of dirty names, and then there is the Y!A R&S Goon Reporting Squad, who (though I don't have any evidence) probably is Christian, since the targets are primarily the atheists.

True agnostics and atheists will not make you look like monsters. We accept that we have a different opinion when it comes to God, and to each their own. We do get really nervous when you start calling for an official state religion, or state sanctioned religious activities. That is a political belief, not religious, and is fair game.

I am sorry your feelings got hurt. Try not to take the Internet to seriously. Plenty of be livers are good people. Atheist just believer that what you believe does not make sense. Also you might not be forcing it on us but a lot of people are. Especially by putting in religions in politics. Like no atheist can get elected. Its not fair.

You are not a monster....... or anything like that :)

Hi there!
Remeber, Jesus said that the world would hate us, but to remeber the world hated Him first. There are a lot of 'Christians' who are very mean to non-believers. That is not Scriptural, we are supposed to be ready for all questions and we are to answer them with gentleness and kindness.
Colossians 4:5-6:5Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. 6Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.

If the are any non- Christians who have been mistreated by other Christians, I am truly sorry. Please, forgive us. We are human just like everyone else. And we do make mistakes.

Hope this helps!
God bless!

Not all atheists "bash" on you. Some religious people DO try to force conversions. I try not to make fun of other people's beliefs.

It is very difficult to make someone look like a monster if the person has done nothing monster-y. Perhaps a mirror needs to be in your near future.

i'm a follower of Jesus Christ--i do no longer purely like the term "Christian" lots because of the fact it has this sort of great form of richly deserved adverse connotations. i've got self belief that there would desire to be a communicate board for people who have self belief, or are religious and people who're no longer, to communicate subject concerns, recommendations, rationally and with out arguing or call calling or threatening. it is not straightforward because of the fact faith and spirituality are passionately held ideals or non-ideals. This communicate board would not have adequate persons from any attitude mature adequate to realize this. this is lots greater straightforward to harass or poke exciting at others, than take care of your ideals. perhaps those sort human beings somewhat have not have been given any severe draw close approximately what they suspect. even nevertheless it takes purely an offensive question to start up that ball rolling additionally. i think of that Y!A needs a severe moderator(s) who can freely and neutrally disallow solutions and questions that are immature or a private attack, lots greater beneficial than at modern. yet human beings can not cry "Censure"--they could desire to realize the seriousness of the communicate board and the policies. perhaps it won't artwork right here. perhaps it is composed of a seek for yet another communicate board or chatline that cares approximately this.

The point and reaon for their rudeness was that because until fairly recently you guys did force them to believe what you believe and people like you still do in some less democratic countries, and you still act like you've got all the answers it's difficult for Athiests to take knowing that they don't have them and probably never will and still stick by their convictions about religion.

Now read what you wrote. Beyond the typos, you'll see generalized bashing. You're not a monster, just a hypocrite.

Come on, you can make fun of our beliefs. Try this one.

"You guys are stupid. Why shouldn't we prescribe antibiotics to treat viruses? It's not like bacteria evolves resistance or anything."
